The Master in Applied Psychology is designed to enable the acquisition and the development of scientific knowledge in the applied areas of psychology.
The first year is characterized by a comprehensive and transversal training focused on problems in several domains of the Applied Psychology, following a logic of professional nature, seeking to promote competence assessment, intervention and research in specific fields of professional and scientific activity of psychology.
The second year aims a differentiated training, focused in specific areas of the Psychology in practice: Clinical and Health Psychology, Scholar and Educational Psychology, Justice and Community Psychology, Organizational Psychology and Sport Psychology. It is included a curricular internship and a thesis.
The graduates of the Masters in Applied Psychology are enabled to carry out a professional internship under the responsibility of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP), after which they will have access to the professional practice in the different areas of Psychology.
