Master Degree Program in Advertising Management
The advertising management is an important marketing tool in the contemporary business. It is responsible for the planning and overall organization of integrated campaigns targeting the customers (existing and potential) of one company. As customers are the focus, the advertising management starts with a detailed research of their habits and decision-making process, continues with media (traditional and non-traditional) and message strategy, media planning, media buying and ends with a post-campaign analyses.
The management of the advertising activities is a task not only of the advertisers but of their ad agencies too. As a result of the proper management the companies achieve their marketing goals (increased sales) and communication objectives (increased awareness, knowledge, liking, preference, conviction or readiness for purchase). The advertising management is one of the most important tools for building customers’ loyalty and strong brands.
The NBU master program “Advertising Management” deals with the management of the advertising process exploring the view points of all stakeholders – customers, agencies, media, consumers. The students learn to integrate the advertisement with alternative forms of corporative communication as well as to integrate the creative process in the communication channels management. The goal of the program is to develop theoretical and practical skills for managing an agency in a way to be able to offer not only well planned advertising campaigns but integrated communication proposals.
The program recognizes the service available to advertisers, communication agencies and media. Additionally, each year the program negotiate training programs with the Bulgarian Association of Advertisers, Advertising Agencies Association and other industry organizations and companies in the field of advertising, as well as internships in conjunction with the ad management of university projects.
Master in ad management can be implemented in the field of advertising in various positions (including management), part of the activities of advertising agencies, advertising departments of corporations and the media.
