Entry Requirements - Online MSc in Mental Health Psychology
Our online MSc programme in Mental Health Psychology is aimed at professionals looking to further their careers in the field and gain knowledge they can apply immediately in their work.
Both educational qualifications and work experience are taken into consideration when you apply to the University.
In general, you will be expected to have:
- a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or a degree from a recognised institution comparable and/or equivalent to a British honours degree
- one year’s working experience (for graduates in psychology)
- two or more years’ working experience (for all other graduates).
Applicants who do not directly meet the educational requirements will be evaluated on an individual basis, taking into account vocational and professional qualifications, and relevant working experience.
If English is not your native language, you will need to demonstrate English proficiency comparable to IELTS 6.5 overall (7 for Academic Reading/Writing), TEEP 6.5, TOEFL 570 paper-based or 88 internet-based (22 for reading/writing), GCSE C.
In addition, applicants require a GCSE C or equivalent qualification in mathematics.
