Project managers are at the forefront of leading change in a diverse range of organisations, from charities and local government, to banks, aerospace, construction, retail and the wider commercial sector. Projects are about delivering beneficial change through new initiatives, product developments and service improvements, as well as projects that produce the physical world around us, such as buildings and roads.

Our course has a proven track record of attracting project managers from around the world, across many backgrounds and sectors. It is accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM) and our close links with the APM and many other organisations engaged in projects, helps ensure our course is up to date with the latest developments in the profession.

Our teaching team have hands-on experience in a variety of backgrounds, including engineering, business and IT consultancy, financial services and construction.

January entrants please note: in order to complete 12 months of academic study delivered in University term time, the total length of your programme will be 18 months to include recognised University vacation periods.

Requirements:

Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the project management work environment. All applications should be supported by a reference.

IELTS:

IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification. The University provides excellent support for any applicant who may be required to undertake additional English language courses.

Mature Applicants

Our University welcomes applications from mature applicants who demonstrate academic potential. We usually require some evidence of recent academic study, for example completion of an access course, however recent relevant work experience may also be considered. Please note that for some of our professional courses all applicants will need to meet the specified entry criteria and in these cases work experience cannot be considered in lieu.

Please note that all applicants to our University are required to meet our standard English language requirement of GCSE grade C or equivalent, variations to this will be listed on the individual course entry requirements.
