The global textile and clothing chain global value is strongly influenced by fashion and consumer trends. Companies and professionals in the sector require the development of differentiated offers, driven by Design and innovation, in order to create value for the customer and achieve success. The main focus of the Master degree in Design and Marketing is the development of innovative products, feasible from an industrial and commercial point of view.
The course provides advanced training for graduates in the areas of Design, Marketing, Textile Engineering and the like, targeting the need of creating high added value, differentiated products/brands, with an impact on the sustainability of the companies. The areas include basic sciences of Design and Marketing as well as specific knowledge areas of the Design and Marketing of textiles, clothing and related products. Special emphasis is placed on project work in multidisciplinary teams, and R & D activities are proposed.
Product designers, product managers, marketing managers, communication and image managers, in companies of the textile/clothing chain or similar areas. Adaptability of these functions to other industrial areas.
