Many companies forecast their greatest IT demands in the areas of systems integration, information management, software engineering, software development. This system design and development specialization helps equip technical leaders with the skills necessary to design and implement high-quality applications that meet business needs. It includes and expands upon the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) body of knowledge frameworks. The curriculum is also built around the competencies contained in leading IT certifications, including CISCO and Microsoft, and is continually updated to include practical applications of today's technologies, including .NET, SQL, and JAVA. You may choose from a wide range of electives that allow you to focus on a particular application or develop a broad understanding of a variety of applications. Capella's Virtual Lab Environment allows you to develop and test technology projects in an environment that closely mirrors real-life settings, and to create a professional portfolio that demonstrates your master’s level competencies to current and future employers.
