Human service professionals work with multi-cultural populations, immigrants, refugees, and transient communities in the U.S. and all over the world. In this specialization, you will develop a global consciousness and cultural awareness to serve a variety of international groups. Courses explore cultural differences and strategies for working effectively across a variety of cultural contexts.
With this specialization, you will be prepared for a variety of career opportunities in the U.S. or around the world. For example, you could work in U.S. agencies that serve immigrants and refugees, or you could work internationally in U.S.- sponsored social services or international specialty agencies abroad.
