An inter-university programme
The master degree in finance is an inter-university training jointly offered by the Universities of Geneva, Lausanne and Neuchâtel.
The first term includes mandatory compulsory courses (24 ECTS credits) taught in the three universities and for which the curriculum is similar. Then students choose one of the three following orientations while remaining in the university where they are registered:

MSc in Finance
The MSc in Finance is organised as a 90 ECTS or three semester programme, but students have the option of writing a 30 ECTS research assignment during a fourth semester which results in them graduating with 120 ECTS. This arrangement is especially suited for students who plan on pursuing a Doctorate after completing the programme. The programme is organised in such a way that working students can pursue it alongside their careers, but these students should expect to take longer to complete the programme than full-time students.
