About the Program

 The EMIS program is a unique academic blend of in-depth technology and management studies presented in a dynamic and innovative format. The program enables rising and senior IT decision-makers to fill in the gaps in their work experience, incorporating information on the latest technologies and management issues. Students are challenged to integrate the wide range of technologies, methods, and techniques with an understanding of the strategic implications.

 

Classroom discussions draw upon the real world experiences of the faculty as well as the student body. The program attracts a diverse and highly talented pool of individuals who average 17 years of work experience with a range of 5 to 30 years. Although students represent a wide range of disciplines and industries, they are all responsible for major IT/IS decisions within their organizations. Through coursework, discussions, projects, group work, and hands-on experiences, students form a strong professional network with their classmates while developing a portfolio of skills immediately applicable to challenges they may be facing in the workplace....
