The International Master’s Degree Programme in Neuroscience (MNEURO) provides students with the knowledge and skills they need for modern advanced and applied neuroscience research. The Faculty of Biosciences and the Neuroscience Center (NC) organise the MNEURO programme. Located on the Viikki and Meilahti Campuses, NC is an independent research and teaching institute at the University of Helsinki.

In basic neuroscience research, the goal is to understand the principles of how the nerve cells are functioning and how the individual neurons ultimately form highly complex neuronal networks (e.g. our brain) capable of delicate information processing.
