The students of the MA in Tourism & Hospitality Management benefit from the large variety of internship opportunities in tourism and hospitality in Barcelona. Ever since Barcelona hosted the Olympic Games in 1992, the city has experienced a steady growth in tourism. Today, Barcelona is one of the most visited cities in Europe and in the world. Barcelona offers fantastic hotel infrastructure, highly developed tourism services, and a ton of programs and events to promote the city as a tourist destination.
The MA in Tourism & Hospitality Management applies broad perspectives on tourism by combing various approaches to global tourism companies, sustainable tourism, marketing of destinations, and emerging issues in international tourism.
One academic year. Depending on the starting quarter it may take from 9 to 12 months.
Applications are accepted all year round. Students can start studying for their MA in Communications and Future Marketing in October, January, and April. Students who are not citizens of the European Union are encouraged to apply earlier in order to allow time for student visa processing.
From 7pm to 9pm, 2-3 days per week, depending on the quarter.
To qualify for admission to this degree, you must:
- have earned a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or higher degree, OR have a minimum of three years of working experience;
- provide a proof of English language proficiency;
- complete all required forms for admission and submit all required documents
