The Master in Church Music programme aims to train musicians with excellent artistic, teaching and professional abilities. The programme has three specializations:
- Arrangement and Composition
- Organ and Keyboard
- Vocal Music and Choir
After completing the programme students shall have well-developed knowledge, understanding and skills to be able to partake in various forms of professional work such as soloist work, as a member of a fixed ensemble or as a musician within a parish of the Church of Sweden or other denominations. Students shall also have developed the ability to study independently.
In addition, after completing the programme, students shall have acquired thorough entrepreneurial skills that increase his/her professional versatility in an ever-changing ecclesiastical and cultural life.
