Join other international students and enjoy being taught by world-renowned scholars with expertise in archaeological fieldwork and research, in one of the following tracks:

  • A two year MA program (with thesis)
  • Or a one year credited course program for PhD students

The academic curriculum of The International MA program in Ancient Israel Studies, throughout the first two semesters, focuses on the history of the Biblical period and the Old Testament, while also offering ancient languages and practical archaeological skills.

The program’s third (summer) semester consists of four to six weeks of field excavation at one of the archaeological projects run by Tel Aviv University’s Institute of Archaeology.
