MA Strategic Marketing
Awarding Body: Anglia Ruskin University
The Anglia Ruskin University MA programme is validated and awarded by Anglia Ruskin University, and is recognised worldwide. The MA in Strategic Marketing is designed to expose you to current thinking and practice across a range of issues relevant to marketing. It considers marketing within an ethical context and also considers the developments in digital marketing.
Online teaching materials are derived from established academic research in order to develop critical powers of analysis, reflection and the further development of interpersonal skills in preparation for key positions in industry, commerce and the public sector.
You will develop a critical and detailed understanding of the role of marketing in organisations, as well as an advanced understanding of marketing in a global context. You will be able to focus on specialist areas of marketing including international marketing, marketing communications and digital marketing.
There are a variety of assessments used in the programme, typically one for each module. The aim is to give you the opportunity to apply your learning to practical situations; either within your own organisation or one that you have familiarity with. The final dissertation is a major piece of work that can be used to analyse a real problem in depth and generate recommendations that would be valuable to an organisation. Throughout the assessment process you will have the support of a tutor and guidance to develop the skills needed to succeed. Over the whole programme you will need to complete seven assignments of 3000 words, one open-book 24 hour assessment and a dissertation of 15,000 words.
