Commercial success and a sustained career in the music industry both depend increasingly on an artist’s ability to set up their own small record label, administer copyrights, facilitate live events and develop their careers.
Directed by a team of highly experienced industry professionals with unique insights and unprecedented experience in the field, you will have the opportunity to study key concepts in managing and developing your own career – or that of an act you represent.
Applicants must have the following:
- Honours Degree in Music, Music Technology or a related subject to a minimum pass of 2:2, or substantial industry experience in the field.
Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio of degree -level / professional work and a written statement.International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.5 or above, and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening), TOEFL ibt at score at 90 or above, Pearson PTE Academic at score 58 or above, or an equivalent secure English language test. In some countries where teaching is in English, we may accept local qualifications.
