The MA International Relations at MIUC concentrates on various aspects of International Affairs and Conflict Resolution Studies in light of regional and global political developments.
This exciting Master Programme is based on an interdisciplinary approach in Conflict Resolution Studies and International Affairs, with an additional emphasis on Research Methodology and Academic Writing.
Students will be introduced to the core principles in the area of Conflict Studies in relation to the wider framework of Political Science and International Affairs.
When analysing specific case studies, each student is encouraged towards developing a multifaceted, critical perspective, while taking into account both historical background and recent developments.
The second part of the core programme focuses on the impact of the imperial-colonial legacies, the idea of Otherness and politics of identity.
Students can choose from a number of elective courses focused on global and regional issues, environmentalism, human rights and conflict analysis.
