The MA in International Relations program is administered in conjunction with the Coventry University in Great Britain. Through this program, students will gain knowledge that is essential for making decisions in the areas of politics, business, and the media in an international context. Students will learn about the complexities of contemporary politics, they will improve their language ability and gain useful skills for the business world. The program consists of two full years of study, during which students are also expected to complete an independently-researched Master's thesis. There is a chance to graduate from the program after completing just the first year of coursework and Master's thesis. In such a case students receive a Coventry University degree only, and will not receive a degree from Lazarski University. In other words, in order to receive two degrees, students must complete two full years of coursework plus their Master's thesis. In order to receive the Coventry University degree only, students must complete the first year of coursework and their Master's thesis. As part of the program, students must choose one of two specializations: European Administration or Contemporary Politics. Two Degrees - one from Lazarski University and one from the Coventry University! International Relations is an ideal field of study for people who are curious about the world and who wish to exert an influence on the social and political realities of global affairs. Through this program, students will gain knowledge that is essential for making decisions in the areas of politics, business, and the media in an international context. Students will learn about the complexities of contemporary politics, they will improve their language ability and gain useful skills for the business world. They will also learn about the principles of modern international relations, as well as their historic, political, and economic determinants. In addition, students will gain valuable insight about the policy decisions and economic developments that operate in an international context, and will also perfect their analytical skills, which will allow them to succeed in jobs that require strong investigative, diagnostic, and critical thinking abilities. Graduates of this program will also develop skills that will help them work effectively In teams and communicate successfully in an international environment. The MA in International Relations program ends with a Master of Arts in International Relations degree. The program is administered in conjunction with the Coventry University in Great Britain and consists of two main components: 1) IR classes taught in semesters one and two, plus a Master's thesis and seminar, and 2) additional IR courses during semesters three and four, which are part of the European Administration or Contemporary Politics specializations. All courses are taught in English. In order to receive a degree from the Coventry University, students must complete the first two semesters of coursework and their Master's thesis. In order to receive both a degree from the Coventry University and Lazarski University, students must complete their Master's thesis as well as coursework in all four semesters. Classes run Monday through Friday, on an average of 14 hours per week. Specialization European Administration European Administration is a specialization that is part of the 2 year double-degree MA in International Relations program. Specialization Contemporary Politics Contemporary Politics is a specialization that is part of the 2 year double-degree MA in International Relations program.
