Justification:

Neonatology as a specialty pediatric clinic has achieved great technological development in recent years. For this development impacts conclusively given the quality of care our babies must be accompanied by improved rates of qualification of human resources involved in the provision of neonatal services.

At present the only residents of Radiology and diagnostic images that are operating in the Atlantic Coast are the University of Cartagena, whose program began 37 years ago and accepted three students each year, and the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, started in March 2001 and accepted three students in each cohort. Most radiologists practicing in the Atlantic Coast have been trained in universities within the country and abroad.

Admission & Prerequisites

An applicant must: [i] be a registered nurse in Australia and hold a current practising certificate, or [ii] if an overseas applicant, have had his/her nursing qualifications assessed by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council or the Nursing Board of Tasmania and be eligible for registration in Australia, and normally have had at least six months of full-time experience in relevant nursing practice within the last two years (or equivalent); [iii] hold an undergraduate degree in nursing with a grade point average of at least a credit (or equivalent); or [iv] have qualifications or experience deemed to be the equivalent of one of the above....

Medisin grunnfag er en selvstendig årsenhet som gir 60 studiepoeng. Studiet gir en grundig introduksjon i medisinske fag. Studiet passer godt for studenter som vurderer medisinstudier eller andre profesjonsstudier innen helsefag og komplementærmedisin, som  akupunktur og homøopati. Men studiet passer også for deg som ønsker å jobbe i helse- og omsorgssektoren, og oppnå et relevant kompetansebrev for dette.NB: Studiet er ikke første året av en lege/medisinutdanning. Dersom du skal studere medisin må du begynne på første året av det etter at du har fullført medisin grunnfag. Som kjent finnes det ingen kiropraktorutdanning i Norge, og norske studenter må reise til utlandet. Vårt nye studium er en kombinasjon av ett år på medisin grunnfag ved Bjørknes Høyskole og 4 år ved Murdoch University i Perth. Dette er en fantastisk mulighet for alle som har lyst til å bli kiropraktor.

Medisin grunnfag er et åpent studium der alle med generell studiekompetanse kan søke. For å komme videre inn på andre året av kiropraktorutdanningen i Australia må du oppfylle følgende krav:
