With this increased sophistication, and with the government's support, China has engaged in the internationalization of its companies, with the view to challenging established market leaders both within and outside of China. Western businesses must be prepared for China's internationalization and entry on the world scene, with the view to identifying the new business opportunities this presents, as new markets, suppliers, partners and investors become available....

The first is a journey into the past and present of graphic design in Italy, to understand its most significant aspects and analyse its relation to the international scenario, studying the players in its most prolific period, until the seventies, followed by the next generations and culminating in an overview of contemporary design with the IT revolution and recent cross-fertilisation with comparable languages, such as web, video and ultimedia design.

The journey includes studio visits, meetings with graphic designers and case histories.

 

The second part aims to provide and develop on knowled ge of the designer’s tools, teaching how to use professio nal software for drawing, image management, layout and developing interactive presentations and animation. Participants will also be guided as they rediscover manual skills essential to the designer’s profession: relationships with objects, materials and full-scale dimensions....

The Berkeley-Nanyang Advanced Management Programme (BNAMP) is a joint initiative between Haas School of Business (Haas) at University of California at Berkeley (UC Berkeley), USA, and Nanyang Business School (NBS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. This programme was successfully launched in November 2006.

 

The BNAMP is an intensive 4-week full-time, residential programme conducted annually at Haas and NBS. Two weeks of the Programme will be conducted at Haas and two weeks will be held at NBS.
